Restoration House Rochester

Charles ll stayed in this house the night before returning to London to be restored to the throne. The building also contains the room which was the inspiration for Miss Haversham in Charles Dickens Great Expectations.

E P C S provided planning advice in respect of this Grade 1 listed building. The Town & Country Planning Act 1990 states that neighbouring development must have regard to the setting of a listed building.
